Tourism is a service industry comprising a number of tangible and intangible components. The tangible elements include transport systems, (air, road and water) as well as hospitality services, accommodation, foods and beverages, tours, souvenirs, and related services (banking, insurance, safety and security). The intangible elements include rest and relaxation, culture and history, adventure, and a new and different experience.

Every stakeholder is responsible for impressing and giving tourists, (domestic, regional and international) the value and service expected the first time they visit and every time thereafter.

Traditionally known as “the Paris of the Middle East”, Beirut and Lebanon time and again position themselves amongst the leaders of tourism in the region, providing and developing industry intelligence useful for all acting partners.

Responsibilities are vast as the Lebanese economy has been and will remain heavily dependent on the service sector which counts for more than two thirds of its GDP. Tourism has also proven to be the key future development area in several other Middle Eastern economies.

A competitive advantage is important to any establishment. Moreover, it is essential to the hospitality sector. As today's competition has become global, special attention must to be paid to products, services and quality targeting the levels the global tourist expects. Furthermore, of utmost importance, is acknowledging the need for collaboration across traditional barriers in order to increase this destination's overall value.

Vitech Consulting s.a.l. includes experts within the tourism industry, highly qualified Quality Management Systems Consultants and Internationally Certified and practicing Lead Auditors in several acclaimed operating systems.

Tourism development comprises various opportunities spanning Sector Studies & Analysis for main stakeholders on a macro level, Destination Marketing, tightening together various organizations across interest barriers, and overall Tourist Development Projects & Strategic Consulting assisting with expansion domestically and regionally.

On an institutional level, quality remains the buzz word of our century. Throughout all industries, either service or product related, the quest is ongoing. To assure quality, management turns to systems. Standards ensure compliance, the first time and every time. Outputs are measurable and provide the basis for development and growth.

A number of systems can be chosen and adapted, whether internally developed or internationally procured, to further compliment already existing company standards. If designing and implementing a system from the start, Vitech consulting s.a.l. recommends the consideration of ISO and HAACP systems. These systems are adaptable to any organization, regardless of size, and whatever product or service is being offered in any sector. They will ultimately compliment your business strategy and enhance effectiveness.

To compliment these quality systems and maximize their success in any organization, a set of carefully planned and engineered technical training programs and workshops are available.

Learning material, standards, charts, process flow charts, posters and more are available in English as well as in Arabic to meet the requirements of local management and staff.

Customized service training can be provided alongside any system implementation process or as a stand alone organization quality elevation.
